Safety, Health and Environment Apprentice 

 
Job Description:


TCi Construction WORKS is a commercial new-build, fit-out, and refurbishment contractor operating across the South of England, with extensive experience in specialist industrial environments.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Safety, Health and Environment Apprentice to join our team.


Roles & Responsibilities:


•    Deliver training and present data applicable to HS&E
•    Assist the management team in the development, management, implementation and monitoring on the management system
•    Updating systems in line with changes to legislation or best practice
•    Undertake workplace inspections
•    Provide advice on the practical implementation of policies and procedures
•    Carry out risk assessments and method statements
•    Support practical application of safe use of equipment, materials and products
•    Assist with monitoring of SHE performance reporting
•    Assist in the preparations and maintenance of records such as (PUWER, Lifting Operations, HAVS etc)
•    Research HS&E issues and best practices
•    Assist in the investigations of accidents, incidents, dangerous occurrences, near misses and other incidents as directed


Requirements:


•    Effective communication – both spoken and written
•    Be able to work effectively in a team (colleagues, suppliers, clients and public)
•    Confident to lead by example and challenge behaviour inconsistent with SHE culture
•    Adaptable to organisational change
•    Knowledge/skills of use of universal software, word, excel, etc

•    Working hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30–16:00 (excluding travel time)
