About the role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Rigger to support the safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of lifting and installation activities across our project environments. Working closely with the wider project team, the rigger will ensure all rigging, lifting and equipment setup tasks are carried out to the highest standards and in full compliance with company procedures and industry regulations. This role is ideal for someone looking to apply their current rigging expertise while contributing directly to the successful delivery of key project milestones.


What You’ll do


·         Carry out site rigging activities in line with Ospreys procedures, RAMS, and engineer-produced lift plans
·         Ensure equipment is set up correctly, used safely and maintained in accordance with operational requirements
·         Complete pre-use checks, report defects, and support basic maintenance tasks
·         Set and check the functioning of the rated capacity limiter and rated capacity indicator
·         Be able to take action to avoid dangerous situations, including stopping operations if necessary
·         Carry out manual handling and maintenance activities
·         Work at heights, with hand/power tools, and near/on water


Skills & Experience


·         Proven experience working as a rigger within heavy lift, construction, industrial, or marine environments
·         Strong understanding of lifting practices, RAMS, lift plans and industry regulations such as LOLER
·         Ability to interpret drawings, risk assessments, duty charts, and technical documentation
·         Competent in the safe set-up an use of cranes, lifting equipment, outriggers and load-spreading systems
·         Confident working as part of a coordinated lift team with clear and effective communication
