The Recruitment and Onboarding Manager will lead the delivery of a high-quality, compliant, and efficient end-to-end recruitment and onboarding service at Hinkley Point C, one of the UK's most significant infrastructure projects.
This is a hands-on leadership role in a highly regulated, safety-critical environment. You will be responsible for ensuring the right people are recruited, cleared, and mobilised on time to support operational delivery, while leading and developing an on-site recruitment team. You will also collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to support Wilson James.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and a natural ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

• Salary starting from £65,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a guaranteed monthly bonus of 8.65% of your gross salary while working at HPC
• Annual leave: 25 days per year plus Bank Holidays
• Shift pattern: 9 days across 2 weeks (Monday - Friday on week one, then Monday - Thursday on week two)

Qualifications
• Professional Qualification (preferably L5 CIPD, or willing to work towards), or a Degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline
• CITB Health, Safety & Environment Test (to be obtained before start date)
What we need from you:
• Proven experience managing recruitment and onboarding services in a complex or regulated environment
• Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and pre-employment screening requirements
• Demonstrable experience leading and developing teams
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Strong analytical skills with experience using recruitment data and KPIs
• Confidence using recruitment systems, Microsoft Office, and digital recruitment tools
• Experience using social media and digital channels for attraction
• Practical understanding of AI and technology within a recruitment or service setting
• A positive and dynamic approach to challenges faced and the ability to set high expectations
• Champion a strong Nuclear Safety Culture and role model Wilson James' safety behaviours
Site Specific Information:
• Ability to provide a minimum 3-year work history and pass HPC vetting
• Ability to obtain and maintain an HPC site pass
• Role is fully site-based at Hinkley Point C (45-minute bus journey required)
