Opportunity for a Records Technician working with Dalkia on the Hinkley Point C Project,
Salary : £35k-£40k DoE
Hinkley Point C is the UK's first new build nuclear power station in a generation that is critical to the UK NetZero targets.
All roles on the project require key behaviours which support the Zero Harm objective, a questioning attitude, and drive to uphold the standards of safety and quality required by this prestigious project. A committed strong work ethic is essential at all levels.
All candidates are expected to demonstrate their knowledge and experience where possible directly related to the criteria required for the role. It is acknowledged that previous Nuclear based experience will not always be possible, as such supporting with project research and how individual skills may be transferable will be important.
There are opportunities to put together strategic people plans within the nuclear sector, work on wider company people projects, deliver an excellent first class service to employees and ensure the administration and processes that engulf working life are implemented effectively and fairly
Accountabilities:
Reporting to the LTQR Manager, this is a key role that supports Dalkia delivering project requirements with a focus on project information management, and, ensuring project related documentation is maintained with full traceability and control throughout the life cycle of the project and life of the facility.
Key Deliverables:
- Review incoming and outgoing documents for compliance to requirements.
- Manage distribution of both electronic and hard copy documents. End to End configuration control.
- Prepare data reports when required on document status for LTQR Manager.
- Assist production of LTQR handover packs
- Assist Area Quality Leads to ensure appropriate LTQR's are submitted for work packages as required by contract.
- Review LTQR's for accuracy and adequacy of content to allow the compilation of lifetime records to support End of Erection Status Reports.
Minimum Qualifications/ Experience
- Qualifications in an Engineering/or Computer discipline, ONC / HNC / HND (or equivalent experience).
- Excellent IT skills and experience in applying electronic document management systems (EDMS) and associated metadata schemas.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience on EDMS automation systems and control of LTQR records.
Additional Qualifications/ Experience:
- Major Project Experience,
- Nuclear Experience beneficial

- 9 day fortnight
