Purpose of the role:


A Quality Systems Analyst is sought to join the Quality Team at BYLOR undertaking the Main Civil Works at Hinkley Point C.


Key responsibilities and specific accountabilities:


• The Quality Systems Analyst will support the Quality Systems team with producing data analytics, alignment and visualisation of outputs, reporting results and analysis from multiple digital quality systems to internal senior management, the client, and Tier 2 suppliers.
• Develop, maintain, and improve data analytics dashboards and reports using tools like Qlik Sense and Power BI to provide meaningful insights into quality performance and help to drive efficiency across the board.
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across all systems, helping to drive improvements in both data gathering methods and processes.
• Understanding of development, implementation and deployment of digital systems.
• Establish strong working relationships with all key stakeholders and lead projects from initial scoping requirements and development all the way through to final delivery.
• Day-to-day tasks typically involve leading meetings with internal delivery teams/Tier 2 suppliers, meetings with the client, interfacing with senior management and key data owners / stakeholders.
• Be self-motivated and adaptable to be able to drive things forward and switch between multiple projects depending on the project needs.

TECHNOLOGY / IT SKILLS


You will:
• Be able to discuss IT systems and architecture, data formats & systems integration opportunities with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Be familiar with SQL.
• Be familiar with Python (preferable, but not essential).
• Be familiar with Data Visualisation tools (knowledge of Qlik Sense or Power BI is preferable).
• Be comfortable learning new software and systems to enhance digital adoption.
• Enjoy working with large datasets.
• Be comfortable working with tabular data in csv format, excel etc.
• Be proficient in Microsoft O365.


DESIRABLE (BUT NOT ESSENTIAL) SKILLS & EXPERIENCE


• Previous experience in implementation of Data Warehouses, Data Lakes etc.
• App Development via Microsoft PowerApps.
• Experience in interfacing with Senior Management.
• Problem solving and logic-based troubleshooting skills.
• Existing knowledge of quality systems and documentation such as Inspection and Test Plans.
• Demonstrated ability to work successfully with a diverse group of customers.
