Opportunity for a Quality Management Lead working with Mactech on the Hinkley C Project,

 

Salary: £525 per day via UMBRELLA
Location: Hinkley Point C, Bridgwater, Somerset


Main Duties : 

 

  • Review, accept and monitor Contractors Quality Assurance Plans (CQAP)
  • Develop and maintain Project Quality Control Plans (PQCP)
  • Lead implementation of Lifetime Quality Records (LTQR) reviews
  • Ensure manufacturing surveillance through inspection agencies
  • Review and validate supplier Inspection and Test Plans (ITP)
  • Coordinate manufacturing documentation review processes
  • Manage quality release of equipment to HPC construction site
  • Support technical resolution of non-conformances
  • Monitor contracted inspection entities' performance
  • Interface with stakeholders including Direction Industrielle
  • Produce quality documentation and specifications as required


Qualifications/Experience : 

 

  • HNC/HND or degree in relevant science/engineering subject
  • Significant project delivery experience, preferably in nuclear power sector
  • Strong understanding of QA/QC in major projects
  • Experience interfacing with project teams and supply chain
  • Knowledge of pressure and nuclear codes (desirable)
  • Experience in welding and NDT/NDE (desirable)
