Severfield Group acquired Harry Peers Steelwork in 2019 and DAM Structures in 2021.  
Peers specialise in the Project Management, Design, Fabrication, and Erection of Structural Steelwork Contracts within the Petrochemical, Process, Pharmaceutical, and Nuclear Industries.
DAM Structures Limited is a Yorkshire-based innovative steel fabrication company offering a comprehensive design, manufacture, and erection service for the construction industry.


Main duties : 

 

  • SHE - ensure compliance with the Company Operating Procedures, Company Quality Assurance
  • Procedures, Statutory Safety Legislation, good practice and the contractual responsibilities, Setting out, levelling and positioning of all structures/ materials within the Severfield scope ensuring they are all within set tolerance
  • Client expectations - to work with the Client's engineers to ensure the project is completed on time & specification.
  • Production of as-built drawings and survey information as per the contract specification.
  • Assisting the site management team with monitoring the site direct labour workforce and the work of subcontractors ensuring compliance with company and project safety and work policies.
  • Counselling and mentoring of junior and trainee engineers
  • Problem solving and solving of Technical Difficulties
  • Always at the forefront of activity of site.


Qualifications : 


One of the following -

 

  • Recognised Engineering Qualification (ONC / BTEC / C&G)
  • JB15A / A Associate Diploma of Engineering and Advanced Certificate in Engineering


Experience : 

 

  • Steel erection experience - 3-5 years' with on-site experience
