Quality Delivery Manager

Location: Hinkley Point C, Bridgwater (3 days on site)

Ready to play a meaningful role in shaping one of the UK’s most inspiring megaprojects? As a Quality Delivery Manager, you’ll bring supportive leadership, thoughtful coordination, and a calm, people‑centred approach to a team contributing to Hinkley Point C’s delivery journey. Here, your ability to nurture collaboration, encourage shared outcomes, and guide teams with care will truly make a difference — because at EDF, Success is Personal.

The Opportunity

In this role, you’ll join our Quality team at Hinkley Point C, helping to bring to life one of Europe’s largest and most complex infrastructure programmes. You’ll gently guide and empower a team of Quality Management Leads, working in partnership with delivery teams, suppliers, and valued stakeholders to help everyone meet shared quality expectations that support safe, smooth, right‑first‑time progress. Your contribution will support our collective journey towards An Electric Britain.

You’ll join us on a salary from £85,000, with the potential for an annual bonus. This is an on-site role, based at Hinkley Point C #HPC, where you’ll build trusted relationships with Programme Directors, MEH Alliance partners, engineers, and suppliers, engaging closely across all stages of project delivery.

Your work will be varied, purposeful, and connected. As you help shape quality planning, guide risk‑related discussions, and encourage collaborative improvement, you’ll be part of a supportive network committed to learning from one another. You’ll develop your project leadership strengths, build confidence in a highly experienced team, and play an important part in EDF’s transition towards An Electric Britain, creating space for your own growth along the way.

Who You Are

We’re looking for a Quality Delivery Manager who brings a warm, inclusive, and steady approach to project leadership — someone who values teamwork, communication, and gentle influence. Are you experienced in…

  • Leading project-based teams within major infrastructure, engineering, nuclear, or other regulated project environments
  • Applying and guiding others through quality management arrangements on large projects
  • Supporting suppliers and partners to meet expectations and resolve challenges constructively
  • Working with technical, engineering, manufacturing, or construction processes and standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IAEA GS‑R‑3)
  • Holding a recognised project management qualification and a technical/engineering background (HND level or equivalent)

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Encouraging, guiding, and developing a team of Quality Management Leads across design, procurement, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning
  • Building supportive, collaborative relationships with stakeholders to help maintain consistent, aligned quality practices
  • Helping suppliers stay on track with project commitments through open communication and thoughtful oversight
  • Identifying risks, trends, and emerging issues early to support smooth progress and protect safety, schedule, and cost objectives
  • Shaping quality planning and improvement activities, and supporting lessons learned that will help future programmes, including Sizewell C

Pay, Benefits and Culture

Alongside a competitive salary from £85,000, potential for an annual bonus, and a market-leading pension scheme, your package will include customisable benefits such as electric vehicle leasing, discounted gym membership, life assurance, tech vouchers, experience days, and more.

At EDF, we believe there are multiple definitions of what it means to succeed. That’s why we offer you the freedom to develop a career that’s unique to you. Here, Success is Personal – it’s your journey, powered by us.

Everyone is welcome at EDF; we’re committed to building a workforce that reflects gender balance, social mobility, and inclusion of minority ethnic backgrounds, LGBTQ+ communities, and those with disabilities. As a Disability Confident employer, we will support applicants requiring adjustments.

Why Join Us?

For more than 60 years, nuclear power stations in the UK have been quietly keeping Britain fuelled with massive amounts of home-grown energy.

Our teams up and down the country are proudly continuing to serve the nation – but they also have an eye on the future.

EDF is leading the UK's nuclear renaissance with the construction of a new nuclear power station at Hinkley Point C and plans for a new power station at Sizewell C in Suffolk.

Nuclear power is the most reliable, low-carbon energy source currently available to the UK. EDF is playing a key role in the development of nuclear sites, while Hinkley Point C will provide low-carbon electricity to meet 7% of the UK demand. The project is already making a positive impact on the local and national economy as well as boosting skills and education.

We’re not just building new nuclear power stations. We’re developing careers, upskilling generations and creating thousands of employment and apprenticeship opportunities across a variety of skills areas.

It takes a special kind of person to work in the nuclear energy industry and although we have thousands of them there’s always a need for more.

Our industry has a mind-boggling range of opportunities and more jobs, and in more places, than you might think. But it’s also an industry which is changing.

We’re a responsible business and proud to be Britain’s biggest generator of zero carbon electricity. With size, age and experience, we believe we can do even more.
