QA Engineer Site 
The MEH Alliance - Cavendish Nuclear 
Hinkley Point C 


Accountabilities:    
Assist QA Area Lead in ensuring that the Project Quality Assurance requirements are understood and implemented and to ensure that Client and statutory requirements are effectively met. 
Support QA Area Lead for the activities such as developing standards, incorporating lessons learned / best practices in the quality system, training on quality, audits and quality improvements.

 

 

Key Deliverables:    
1.    To maintain the highest degree of professionalism in all dealings related to the Contract.
2.    To report on quality metrics for the measurement of performance of the Works.
3.    Assist in Audits on Project Activities as per project schedule and ad hoc.
4.    Review Life Time Quality Records for compliance.
5.    Interact cross-functionally with project team members and management.
6.    Maintain CAR / NCR logs, Lesson Learned.
7.    Assist QA Area Lead in Contributing to management reports.
8.    Champion Foreign Material Exclusion, preventing ingress or entrapment of non-specified materials, loose items or debris in equipment and /or systems during assembly and testing.


Minimum Qualifications/ Experience 
(in line with MEH Onboarding matrix)

1.    Qualifications in an Engineering discipline, ONC / HNC / HND (or equivalent experience).  
2.    Preferred membership of Chartered Quality Institute and IRAC auditor training.
3.    Minimum 3 years in progressively responsible Quality Engineering positions.

 

 

Additional Qualifications/ Experience:    
1.    Major Project Experience,  
2.    Nuclear Experience beneficial 
3.    Working in Alliance agreement projects
