QA Engineer Site (Level 4)

Accountabilities:
Support the QA Area Lead in ensuring that the Project Quality Assurance requirements are understood and implemented and to ensure that Client and statutory requirements are effectively met.
Support QA Area Lead for the activities such as developing standards, incorporating lessons learned / best practices in the quality system, training on quality, audits and quality improvements.
Key Deliverables:
- Interact cross-functionally with project team members and management.
- Maintain CAR / NCR logs, Lesson Learned.
- Review LTQR records where required
- Produce appropriate reports and management information, monitor the output and address any issues arising to drive improvements.
- Lead investigations and implement effective Root Cause Analysis to enable the identification of corrective actions (as required).
- Challenge systems, processes and working practices to ensure best practice and continual improvement.
- Provide Process Verification Support within the Quality Team to exploit/mitigate risks to MEH Processes
- Champion Foreign Material Exclusion, preventing ingress or entrapment of non-specified materials, loose items or debris in equipment and /or systems during assembly and testing.
Minimum Qualifications/ Experience
(in line with MEH Onboarding matrix)
- Qualifications in an Engineering discipline, ONC / HNC / HND (or equivalent experience).
- Preferred membership of Chartered Quality Institute or similar
- Minimum 3 years in progressively responsible Quality Engineering positions.
- Experience working within regulated industries
Additional Qualifications/ Experience:
- Major Project Experience,
- Nuclear Experience beneficial
- Working in Alliance agreement projects
