WE’RE HIRING – PROJECT PLANNER
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Project Planner to join TCi (GB) Ltd and support the successful delivery of projects across our growing portfolio.
This role is key to ensuring our projects are carefully planned, effectively monitored, and delivered on time and within scope.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop, manage, and maintain detailed project programmes, ensuring timelines, milestones, and deliverables are clearly defined.
• Monitor project progress against agreed schedules, identifying delays, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and commercial teams to coordinate project activities and resource planning.
• Produce regular progress reports, including programme updates, lookaheads, and performance data for internal and client review.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimise impact on delivery.
• Support the planning and scheduling of labour, materials, and equipment requirements across multiple projects.
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and key stakeholders to ensure alignment with project programmes and expectations.
• Assist in the preparation of tender programmes and planning input for new project bids.
• Analyse project data, highlight trends, and provide recommendations to improve efficiency and outcomes.
• Ensure all project schedules and planning documentation are kept up to date and aligned with company procedures.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Practical and methodical approach to problem-solving, with strong attention to detail.
• Self-motivated, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present information clearly to stakeholders.
• Ability to analyse data, identify risks, and propose effective solutions.
• Proficient in project planning software (Preferably Primavera P6, alternatively ASTA Powerproject) and Microsoft Office packages.
• Understanding of construction processes, project lifecycles, and planning best practices.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
DESIRABLE:
• Previous experience in a Project Planner or similar role within construction or engineering.
• Knowledge of NEC/JCT contracts and programme requirements.
• Experience supporting tender programmes and bid submissions.
