We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of technical and operational activities within a major project environment. You will manage day-to-day project delivery, bring together multidisciplinary teams, and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the required standards. Working closely with the engineering, commercial and delivery teams, this role offers the opportunity to manage complex, high value projects while building strong internal and client relationships.


What You’ll do

  • Take full technical, operational, and commercial responsibility for the planning and execution of major heavy lift, transport and logistics projects
  • Manage project execution in line with Ospreys project process and health, safety, quality and environmental management systems, ensuring the highest standards throughout
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, internal teams, suppliers, and site operations, leading all commercial and technical discussions for the assigned project
  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks (commercial, operational, environmental, and safety) to protect Osprey, its employees and stakeholders
  • Ensure robust document control and consistently high-quality project documentation throughout the full project lifecycle
  • Work closely with the wider project management team to develop and maintain strong client relationships and support business development opportunities

 

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience taking full responsibility for technical, operational and commercial responsibility elements of complex projects
  • Strong capability in end-to-end project delivery, ensuring projects and completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards
  • Commercially astute, with advanced cost control and financial management skills, to identify risks, managing margins and issuing warning early
  • Demonstrated ability to lead commercial and technical discussions with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of engineering project requirements, including the production, review and approval of high-quality engineering documentation
  • Excellent client relationship management skills, with a proactive and collaborative approach to stakeholder engagement
