We’re searching for a highly skilled project manager to contribute to Linxon’s growth and help us maintain our position as an innovative authority. The ideal candidate will have EPC experience in the substation industry. You will be expected to drive engineering, coordination, and execution of all disciplines for medium-voltage and high-voltage substation projects


What will you do?


Build and develop the project team to ensure maximum performance, providing purpose, direction, and motivation
Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimation, and project implementation plans, including risk mitigation
To coordinate internal and external resources, ensuring projects remain within scope, schedule, and defined budgets, in collaboration with project staff from various functional departments
Analyze project progress and, when necessary, adapt scope, timelines, and costs to ensure that project team adheres to project requirements
Establish and maintain relationships with appropriate client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes


Other responsibilities 


Determine and define project scope and objectives
Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements
Track project costs to meet budget
Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
Monitor progress and adjust as needed
Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement


Experience and competencies 


Experience in Electrical Transmission projects, including Civil Construction.
Extensive years of experience in project management.
Experience in sites management
Proven experience with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
Experience in risk mitigation & opportunity management.
Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
Business mindset to reach the project’s goals & business goals.
Strong leadership and negotiating skills with an excellent ability to resolve issues, lead teams and work constructively to build positive customer relationships.
Strong organizational skills, ability to develop and manage effective processes
Strong problem solving and analytical skills combined with ability to deliver practical, effective, and sustainable solutions in a continuously changing environment
Excellent interpersonal skills with staff at all levels, ability to get the message across in a coherent and clear way and lead projects with great confidence at its most difficult and challenging times.


Preferred Qualifications


Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
Project Management Certification, or a PMP certification is not mandatory but preferred.
