Project Controls Manager 


Hinkley Point C is the UK’s first new build nuclear power station in a generation that is critical to the UK NetZero targets.
All roles on the project require key behaviours which support the Zero Harm objective, a questioning attitude, and drive to uphold the standards of safety and quality required by this prestigious project. A committed strong work ethic is essential at all levels.


All candidates are expected to demonstrate their knowledge and experience where possible directly related to the criteria required for the role. It is acknowledged that previous Nuclear based experience will not always be possible, as such supporting with project research and how individual skills may be transferable will be important.


There are opportunities to put together strategic people plans within the nuclear sector, work on wider company people projects, deliver an excellent first class service to employees and ensure the administration and processes that engulf working life are implemented effectively and fairly


Reporting to the Head of Project Controls; responsible for the delivery of the day-to-day project control’s function for Dalkia’s scope at HPC. 
Primarily focussed on Planning and Document Controls delivery with a remit to support the development of Cost and Risk controls in the new Nuclear Business Sector of Dalkia.


Key responsibilities:     


•    Integrating with both the project delivery teams and the client’s team across the project.
•    Maintaining the integrity of project baseline information and communication of variances against them.
•    Ensuring Project Reporting is carried out in accordance with contractual requirements.
•    Championing “The Dalkia Way” and ensuring adherence to the Project Delivery System


Essential Qualifications and Experience    


•    Degree level experience in Construction Management, Project Management or closely related discipline.
•    Experience of working in an integrated team over the full lifecycle of a project.
•    Experience in presenting complex information to senior management and stakeholders.


Desirable qualifications and Experience:     


•    APM PMQ/PPQ or PMP (Project Management Professional)
•    Planning Knowledge – Both Principles and Execution
•    Experience working with large sets of data and rationalising output
•    Risk Management Qualifications and certifications (e.g. CIRM, APM)
•    Experience with Document Control Systems such as ASITE/Teamcenter
•    Working Knowledge OF Primavera P6
•    Knowledge of Cost Control Systems such as ERP
•    Earned Value Management
