Opportunity for a Procurement Engineer Associate working with Mactech on the Hinkley Point C Project,


Principal Accountabilities


• Taking ownership for the delivery of key elements of the Procurement Engineering Strategy
• Manage emergent issues in support of the delivery of the Procurement Engineering Strategy
• Using the Digital Tools to perform technical evaluations of plant spares
• Supporting the operational spares catalogue production by:

 

o Creating catalogue identifiers
o Applying quality assurance grades to catalogue deliverables.
o Quality reviews of the catalogue deliverables.

 

• Involved with and providing input into the development of the Digital Tools
• Supporting the quality control inspections of operational spares.
• Creation of operational process documents for procurement engineering/Spares Management


Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications and Experience


• A proactive analytical thinker with an ability to work with minimal supervision and on their own initiative.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organisational and IT skills
• Commercial awareness
• Open to Challenge and seek Continuous Improvement - Reinforce attitudes and nuclear professionalism behaviours that improve performance and achieve a safe working environment and zero harm
• Able to prioritise workloads, meet deadlines and extract and consolidate key information within a project environment.
• Good at building relationships with all levels within an organisation.
