Are you an experienced Plater, ready for your next adventure? Cavendish Nuclear are seeking experienced Plater to join our team on the prestigious Hinkley Point C project. This is your chance to contribute to the construction of the UK's first-ever 3rd generation nuclear power plant, shaping a sustainable future.

The Role

  • Play a pivotal role in building the UK's clean energy future.
  • Work within the MEH Alliance, collaborating effectively to deliver complex piping and cabling systems.
  • Translate engineering documents into fabrication plans, selecting necessary tools and equipment.
  • Cut, shape, and assemble steel plates and components.
  • Install and join plate and structural materials.
  • Perform burning, grinding, and other fabrication tasks.
  • Complete tasks set by supervisors and ensure work meets or exceeds contract specifications.

 
You are a great fit if you have proven experience in the following.

  • Experience using fabrication drawings to develop a fabrication plan and selecting the tools and equipment required to complete the task.
  • Plating experience using tools and equipment to cut prepare shape, fabricate and assemble plate and steelwork
     

Qualifications 

 

  • Must hold a full Level 3 apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 Diploma in in Plating, Fabrication, Welding, Structural Steelwork or Shipbuilding, or ACE Card - Level 3 in Plating
  • Must have a CCNSG Safety Passport
