Opportunity for a Planner (Construction) working with Mactech on the Hinkley Point C Project,
£380 PAYE to £520 UMBRELLA per day
Site-based at Hinkley Point C, Somerset
Full time, long term
Main Duties :
- Develop, integrate, design, and test detailed construction schedules for the MEH phase
- Conduct integrated schedule reviews to optimize construction delivery sequences
- Integrate construction works activities with HPC programmes
- Manage and update schedule data within planning toolsets
- Support 4D capability performance across Safety, Quality, Cost, Time & Risk
- Ensure MEH installation schedules meet delivery needs
- Report site progress and communicate schedule data
Qualifications/Experience :
- Experience delivering complex projects in regulated environments
- Strong English communication skills
- Industrial experience in MEH delivery
- In-depth knowledge of programme planning and forecasting
- Understanding of construction methods, equipment, and labour requirements
- Ability to use digital planning tools
- Desirable: 4D and 5D planning experience
- Desirable: Nuclear construction background
- Desirable: Construction trade or engineering degree
- Professional membership in RICS/CIOB/RIBA/ICE/CIBSE preferred
