Opportunity for a Planner (Construction) working with Mactech on the Hinkley Point C Project,

 

£380 PAYE to £520 UMBRELLA per day
Site-based at Hinkley Point C, Somerset
Full time, long term


Main Duties : 

 

  • Develop, integrate, design, and test detailed construction schedules for the MEH phase
  • Conduct integrated schedule reviews to optimize construction delivery sequences
  • Integrate construction works activities with HPC programmes
  • Manage and update schedule data within planning toolsets
  • Support 4D capability performance across Safety, Quality, Cost, Time & Risk
  • Ensure MEH installation schedules meet delivery needs
  • Report site progress and communicate schedule data


Qualifications/Experience : 

 

  • Experience delivering complex projects in regulated environments
  • Strong English communication skills
  • Industrial experience in MEH delivery
  • In-depth knowledge of programme planning and forecasting
  • Understanding of construction methods, equipment, and labour requirements
  • Ability to use digital planning tools
  • Desirable: 4D and 5D planning experience
  • Desirable: Nuclear construction background
  • Desirable: Construction trade or engineering degree
  • Professional membership in RICS/CIOB/RIBA/ICE/CIBSE preferred
