The Opportunity


In this highly visible role, you’ll provide comprehensive personal assistant support two Programme Directors within our Nuclear New Build business, while also offering administrative support to their direct reports and the wider leadership team as required. Your ability to manage complex diaries, prepare high‑quality meeting packs, co‑ordinate logistics, and handle sensitive information with tact and integrity will be central to the effectiveness of the programme and senior stakeholders you support.


Alongside a competitive salary and potential for an annual bonus, this permanent role is based in #Bridgwater 5 days per week, supporting a major UK infrastructure programme within EDF’s Nuclear New Build team. You’ll work closely with senior leaders, peers, and internal stakeholders in a professional, collaborative environment, contributing to EDF’s journey towards An Electric Britain.


This role offers variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to develop your PA expertise in a demanding and high‑profile setting. From managing documentation and governance processes to liaising with finance, HR, and external parties, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations, continuous improvement, and effective collaboration across the team — while continuing to build your skills and professional confidence.

Proven experience providing PA or high‑level administrative support to senior leaders
Advanced diary and itinerary management skills in a fast‑paced environment
Experience preparing meeting packs, reports, correspondence, and professional documentation
The ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion and integrity
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Demonstrated ability to prioritise effectively, multitask, and work independently
Experience working collaboratively within an admin or PA team to manage workload peaks and cover
 

What You’ll Be Doing


Providing full PA support to two Programme Directors and administrative support to their direct reports
Managing complex diaries, meetings, travel, accommodation, and itineraries
Preparing, maintaining, and organising documents, records, and filing systems
Producing minutes, reports, presentations, and correspondence to a professional standard
Liaising with finance, HR, internal teams, and external stakeholders to support smooth day‑to‑day operations
 

Pay, Benefits and Culture
