Roles & Responsibilities 


•    Plan, organise, and allocate labour effectively across multiple projects to meet operational targets.
•    Support in the development and training requirements for the emergency preparedness of projects
•    Provide line management and leadership to site management teams and directly employed labourers.
•    Oversee management of hired assets across all projects, ensuring compliance with PUWER and LOLER regulations, and liaising with site teams to establish requirements. Develop an asset management database including tracking capabilities and reporting.
•    Manage storage facilities and implement effective asset management practices.
•    Support the creation, review, and implementation of work permits.
•    Conduct readiness reviews of projects prior to commencement to ensure operational preparedness.
•    Assist site management teams with digital systems for paperless health & safety management.
•    Attend sitewide coordination meetings and report on project interfaces and progress.
•    Collaborate with the Health & Safety team to review risk assessments and method statements.
•    Develop and maintain a robust audit schedule, focusing on high-risk activities and Lifesaving Rules, conducting routine deep-dive audits.
•    Oversee fleet operations and perform monthly reviews to assess future requirements


Requirements 


•    Proven ability to confidently support the operations of projects valued at £5–10m+
•    Sound knowledge of NEC3 Contract Administration.
•    Strong communication skills, capable of liaising effectively with clients, professionals, and site personnel.
•    Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to motivate teams to achieve high standards of work.
•    Excellent planning and organisational abilities, including creating, monitoring, and executing project plans and schedules efficiently.
•    Resilient with strong problem-solving skills to overcome unexpected challenges during the construction process.
•    Ability to make informed decisions under pressure to ensure project progress.
•    High attention to detail, including conducting thorough site inspections and managing complex contracts.
•    Strong awareness of health & safety procedures and legislation to maintain a safe construction environment.
•    Commercially aware, able to manage budgets effectively and understand client priorities.
•    Proficient in numerical and IT skills, including relevant construction methods and project management software to manage information, schedules, and finances.
•    Relevant qualifications in Operations or Project Management
•    Full UK driving licence.
•    Ability to pass Drugs & Alcohol (D&A) testing and BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) vetting.
•    Eligibility to live and work in the UK
