We have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Training and Onboarding Administrator at Hinkley Point C.

As a Training and Onboarding Administrator, you will support coordination and administration for all Wilson James and site-specific training and onboarding requirements, ensuring site-specific compliance.  Based on-site and reporting to the Training Team Leader at Hinkley Point C, your role includes providing advice and guidance, and liaising with on-site teams, colleagues at Head Office, and external training providers. Additionally, you will help deliver the training program and manage the enrolment of delegates in training and development programs as needed. You will also be supporting the onboarding process, of completing BPSS packs and looking after our current employees.

 

What we can offer you: 

  • Starting salary from £28,000 per annum plus 8.65% project bonus
  • Shift pattern of an average of 39 hours a week. Working 9 days a fortnight working Monday to Thursday for one week and Monday to Friday for another)

What we need from you: 

Essential:

  • CITB Operative H&S test (must be complete before start date)  

Desirable: 

  • Mentoring and coaching qualification
  • Mental Health First Aider qualification
  • HPC pass holder and knowledge of HPC site

 

What we are looking for: 

  • Previous experience of having coordinated onboarding or training  
  • Experience of working within large organisations with the skill to build and develop robust relationships internally and externally  
  • Good working knowledge of IT and Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc) 
  • Presentation and training delivery skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Can do attitude and willingness to learn 
  • Presentation and workshop-leading abilities  
  • Providing clear training data to key stakeholders
  • Construction experience

 

Site Specific Information  

  • You must be able to provide a 3-year work/ unemployment/ education history and required vetting process in line with HPC protocols
  • You must be able to obtain the HPC pass
  • The site is located remotely and a bus journey of 45 minutes each way is required to gain access
  • This role is based on site and is currently operating a 9-day fortnight rota (subject to change
