Offsite Materials Stock and Systems Lead

Role Purpose:  

To lead and manage all stock and systems-related functions within the warehouse, ensuring inventory accuracy, efficient stock movement, and optimal system performance. This role ensures seamless coordination between operations, IT systems, procurement, and finance to support business objectives and customer satisfaction.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Carry a positive HS&E outlook, while representing and promoting a strong and compliant HS&E culture throughout the whole construction life cycle of the project.  
  • Link into and coordinate with the on-site pre-construction teams, as well as the MEHA Piping lead/s. 
  • Manage and maintain accurate stock levels across all storage locations through robust inventory control processes. 
  • Oversee the integrity of the warehouse management system (WMS), ensuring real-time data accuracy and system availability. 
  • Lead regular cycle counts, stocktakes, and reconciliation processes to minimize stock variances and losses. 
  • Collaborate with procurement and operations teams to forecast and plan inventory requirements based on historical data and projected demand. 
  • Develop and implement SOPs for inventory management and system usage. 
  • Ensure full compliance with company policies and regulatory standards for inventory control and data security. 
  • Analyse system performance and generate reports for management decision-making. 
  • Train and support staff on system usage, stock procedures, and best practices. 
  • Act as the key liaison between IT, operations, and finance departments for all system and inventory matters.


Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)


Experience: 

  • 3-5 years of experience in warehouse, stock, or inventory management roles 
  • Proven experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP software, and inventory control tools 
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail 
  • Experience managing teams and implementing stock control processes 
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
  • Advanced MS Excel and data reporting skills
