NI Lead Complettions 
The MEH Alliance - Altrad 
Hinkley Point C 


Accountabilities:    
1.    Provide and demonstrate positive HSE leadership and a strong Nuclear Safety Culture throughout the whole construction life cycle of the Project. 
2.    Support the Building lead in the day-to-day reporting and prioritisation of system and CTP requirements.
3.    Manage the Commissioning need dates associated to the area/building/area and ensure reports are produced and socialised with the Construction team 
4.    Manage interfaces and collaborate with NNB Commissioning team and MEH Program team on all system needs.
5.    Interface with Database team to ensure specific system/CTP data is correct and progressing. 
6.    Conduct site walkdowns and ensure any available Completions activities are captured and workpacks are completed.
7.    Ensure all construction activities are executed in line with relevant specifications. 
8.    Ensure all access strategies have been developed for system and CTP walkdowns
9.    Be aware of any project change within the specified Systems/CTP’s ensuring that the project change process is adhered to. This will include construction documentation as well as scope change aspects of the contract in coordination with the Building Lead.
10.    Manage and conduct system and CTP walkdowns
11.    Collation of punch lists associated to CTP’s and Systems
12.    Use of core experience & engineering skills to assess practicalities and risks associated with Completions activities. 


Key Deliverables:    
1.    Ensure the System/CTP is delivered on time, budget, and quality, and reported as per the HPC requirements.  
2.    Promote and maintain health and safety, including site inspections to ensure safety rules are being implemented in support of a positive Nuclear Safety Culture. 
3.    Ensuring compliance with all nuclear safety and site licence requirements. 
4.    Ensure daily, weekly & monthly reports are produced for the system scope & issued to the Completions Manager in line with the reporting requirements. 
5.    Promotion of good client relations, dealing efficiently with any issues which may arise at walkdown or before.  

 

 

Minimum Qualifications/ Experience 
(as per MEH matrix)

1.    Relevant degree in construction or engineering related discipline, preferably Mechanical, Electrical or HVAC.
or
HNC in relevant construction or engineering discipline with extensive experience working in this type of role
or
5 years’ experience in a Completions role.

Note:

A competency-based interview will be required to either confirm the above requirements or justify a deviation from them.

2.    IOSH Managing Safely preferred
3.    CCNSG Safety Passport
4.    Capable of obtaining security clearance of BPSS or higher.
5.    Professional accreditation desirable.

Proven experience or safely delivering large scale construction or engineering projects including working at a management level of authority. Experience in the heavy industry or nuclear sectors is beneficial as is experience in working with Joint Ventures.
