Principal Accountabilities:


The materials controller will report to the procurement lead. They will:


• Work with procurement to achieve Company targets.
• Improve, execute and analyse trends communicating the results to management.
• Participate in business meetings with team leaders and managers to assess, and identify issues with current business operations and implement improvements to streamline business processes.
• Develop actionable roadmaps to improve processes and workflows to support station needs.
• Serve as liaison between staff and management by analysing and interpreting data to support station needs.
• Prepare, analyse, and summarize operational results for use by various key stakeholders, creating reports.
• Conduct full lifecycle of analytics projects (including pulling, manipulating, and exporting data) from project requirements.
• Evaluate key performance indicators, provide ongoing reports.


Requirements:


• Excel working in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations.
• Proficient in Office 365 tools such as Excel, Word etc.
• Understanding of inventory and processes
• Experience in a project environment but not essential.
• Comfortable following process with a healthy questioning attitude.
• Minimum requirement of education to GCSE/ National Qualifications standards.
• Driving license.
• Strong attention to detail / Target driven.
• Aptitude with analytical tools.
• Strong influencing, team-building skills, with an ability to build consensus and engagement with the key stakeholders at all levels.
