Maintenance Coordinator

We have an opportunity for a Maintenance Coordinator to join our team at Hinkley Point C, Bridgwater, Somerset. This is a full time role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 0800 - 1700.
As the Maintenance Coordinator, you will work with the Compliance Manager and collaboratively with Hard Services, Helpdesk and Health & Safety team to maintain compliance records. Organising specialist subcontractor maintenance visits, uploading of plans, schemes, RAMS and reports. Internal and external stakeholder liaison to ensure planned works are completed competently and within timeframes.
Salary : £40,308.51
Responsibilities:
- Coordination of specialist subcontractors including but not limited to;
- Contractor booking
- Scheduling works
- Set to works
- Follow up on contractor reports, quotations, compliance documentation
- Follow up on remedial actions through to completion
- Working with the hard services leads to on board new contractors
- Communicating contractor visits to all stakeholders in a timely manner
- Assist Compliance Manager and Head of Technical Services to thoroughly review and vet service documentation / compliance data, following up with Engineers and Specialist contractors as required.
- Work collaboratively with the Helpdesk Lead and Document Controller to ensure all compliance / service documents are uploaded to client and G4S systems
- Work collaboratively with the Helpdesk and Hard FM team to close maintenance tasks
- Accurate record keeping of compliance records and data
- Attend meetings with Compliance Manager and keep records of the meeting
- Work collaboratively with the Hard FM team, Document Controller & Health and Safety to ensure that
- Work permits remain in date and accurate
- Request new permits as required
- RAMS remain in date, accurate and available on the client systems
- Ensure Hard FM records / trackers are kept up to date and available on G4S systems
- Work collaboratively with the Compliance Manager & Mechanical lead to ensure L8 compliance.
- Support Compliance manager in maintaining an accurate asset register
- Any other duties as reasonably requested
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Essential:
- Excellent IT skills
- Working knowledge of statutory compliance
- Ability to work to deadlines and balance priorities
- A resilient team player with drive, enthusiasm, passion, strong planning and coordination
- Proven administration skills and competent PC Skills
- Proactive, innovative and responsive
Desirable:
- CAFM Experience
- Knowledge of Health Safety Policies
