Accountabilities:    
Accountabilities:    

•    Provide and demonstrate a positive HSE leadership and support to the relevant Building Lead throughout the whole construction life cycle of their allocated area supporting a positive Nuclear Safety Culture.
•    Accountable for Integrated delivery performance to the Access LeadEnsure all site activities are undertaken safely and responsibly, and in accordance with the CDM Regulations 
•    Provide input for progress reporting on all Construction activities within the EA.
•    Coordination and interface management of Access as part of construction delivery 
•    requirements between multiple discipline site operations. 

 

 

Health & Safety Responsibilities
•    Confirm awareness that Employees are responsible for ensuring they fully understand the health and safety risks involved in their work activities and their responsibility to apply the controls needed to manage those risks to acceptable levels. Similarly, where work activities can have an adverse impact upon the environment, and particularly where there are legal requirements, employees are responsible for understanding those impacts and the controls they must ensure are applied.


Key Deliverables:    
•    Assess and propose the optimum method of Access required for an activity within a work Area
•    Monitor and Ensure all activities are executed in line with relevant Standards and specifications. 
•    Check all access strategies have been developed for their relevant area and materials/plant are available to support the execution schedule
•    Monitor to confirm productivity reviews are being carried out and reports are available
•    Use of core experience & engineering skills to assess practicalities and risks 
•    associated with Construction activities.
•    Ensure change management is recorded and implemented as per the 
•    contract procedure
•    Confirm compliance with quality assurance requirements, supporting 
•    Action recommendations from Access Lead
•    Identification of risks and opportunities


Minimum Qualifications/ Experience 
(as per MEH matrix)

•    Discipline specific Track record of delivering projects within a technically complex and dynamic environment whilst ensuring high levels of safety, security and environmental responsibility, ideally within the Nuclear Energy sector or similar regulated environment.
•    Demonstrate success in managing & developing Strategies and Teams within an Industrial scale Coatings environment.
•    Engineering design, contract and field execution strategies for project delivery,
•    Multi-discipline EPCM or Complex Project Interface experience.
•    Control of costs; risk; schedule and change, procurement and proficient in the use of Earned Value tools,
•    Experience of successfully engaging groups of stakeholders.
•    Able to demonstrate strong management skills including project management, financial management, change management and facilitation. Proficient in the use of estimating scheduling, programming and risk tools.
•    Experience of managing contractors, consultants and other advisors throughout large and complex construction projects, in a regulated environment. Including NEC or FIDIC contracts.
•    Understanding the needs of nuclear quality and how nuclear quality is assured and controlled.
