MEH – Coatings Construction Planner  (PLN 20009)
The MEH Alliance - Altrad 
Hinkley Point C 


Accountabilities:    
•    Interact within construction and planning departments to align Coatings & any other specified relative task planning with overarching Level 3 and Level 4 schedules.
•    Interact with construction to ensure live accurate data is received. 
•    Liaise with procurement and commercial departments to explore and incorporate cost profiles expectation to support schedules and resource planning. 
•    Monitor and report progress & productivity variances against plan by interfacing with construction teams. 
•    Report any variances in material utilization affecting progress / productivity. 
•    Utilize planning skills and knowledge to develop best for project more detailed planning formats based on mature accurate data and reporting detail.
•    Lead and foster a positive Nuclear Safety Culture.

 

 

Key Deliverables:    
•    Produce and maintain live planning and scheduling programs incorporating data to critical to achieving key milestones
•    Ensure productivity reviews are being carried out and reports are available at required intervals.
•    Use core experience & planning skills to assess practicalities and risks 
associated with Construction planning activities.
•    Monitor change management during interface sessions with construction and flag up any concerns. 
•    Challenge strategies and detail from construction for the Best Result and Action recommendations from Construction and Discipline Lead’s.


Minimum Qualifications/ Experience 
(as per MEH matrix)

PRIMAVERA 6 demonstrable experience and capability. 
•    Minimum 5 years demonstratable experience in Planning / project controls field.
•    Relevant Professional Accreditation preferable 
•    Can achieve Security Clearance (BPSS or Higher)
•    IOSH or MAPs level Managing safely Cert achievable
•    Experienced in delivering and operating at a staff level. 
•    Results orientation – Understanding the required results and focusing to achieve them. 
•    Teamwork – Comfortable Working closely with colleagues and Peers

•    Positive confident Outlook
•    A self-motivated ability, setting the right behaviours.
•    An ability to think laterally and flexibly to deliver solutions
•    Confident & Competent of providing accountability for their actions.
