Job Responsibilities:

•   Perform daily checks on vehicles, maintain cleanliness, and promptly report any issues to management
•   Undertake cleaning, organizing, and upkeep of the yard to maintain a professional appearance
•   Load and secure equipment and materials on vehicles in compliance with safety standards
•   Compliance and Recording:
o Adhere to all company policies, site-specific procedures, and safety protocols
o Utilize the bell-to-bell recording system as directed by the line manager
o Ensure proper use of PPE and display HPC ID pass at all times
•   Support waste removal, maintain site cleanliness, and use appropriate equipment such as vacuums and scrubber 
dryers
•   Collaborate with the Logistics Team to ensure seamless operations and provide additional support as requested by the supervisor
•   Commit to creating a risk-free environment by following safe systems of work and upholding Wilson James core values
•   Any additional reasonable duties requested by your supervisor or line manager


Qualifications:

  • CITB Operative H&S test (must be completed before the start date)
  • Full Driving License


Experience:

•  Good written and verbal communication
•  Experience in the use of cleaning products and equipment
•  Ability to understand Safe Systems of work
•  Experience in using COSHH material and understanding of COSHH assessments
•  Demonstrate the ability to think and act quickly in unsafe conditions
•  Maintain a high standard of personal presentation
•  Reliability - maintain a good work ethic and routine
•  Able to demonstrate an ability to work as part of a team
•  An understanding of the principles of equality and diversity in relation to visitors' or colleagues' needs
