Logistics Operative (Driver) - Plant & Fleet

As a Logistics Operative, you will play a key role in providing support to MEH Alliance logistics operations by escorting deliveries and site visitors. You will ensure that vehicles are parked correctly, refuelled and keys are stored securely and records are kept for audit purposes. This will be a very busy role with conflicting priorities, and we are looking for someone who wants to join us who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has the ability to work with blue and white collar workforce. You will be part of a great team, who are supportive and friendly.
Qualifications:
- A CITB Operative H&S test (to be completed before the start date)
- Valid UK Driving Licence
Experience:
- Good written and verbal communication
- Experience in the use of cleaning products and equipment
- Ability to understand Safe Systems of work
- Experience in using COSHH material and understanding COSHH assessments
- Demonstrate the ability to think and act quickly in unsafe conditions
- Maintain a high standard of personal presentation
- Reliability - maintain a good work ethic and routine
- Able to demonstrate an ability to work as part of a team
- An understanding of the principles of equality and diversity in relation to visitors' or colleagues' needs.
- Experience of working on a construction site

- Salary: £15.10 per hour
