40 hours per week, including some early and late starts and finishes and weekend work on monthly rotation.

Responsibilities
• Installing way finding signage.
• Installing emergency signage.
• Waste management & segregation.
• Fire point maintenance.
• Water point replenishment & maintenance.
• General housekeeping.
• Material movements.
• Weekly fire alarm system testing.
• Water extraction.
• General receipt & stock control of consumables & equipment.
• Operation of goods & personnel hoists.
• Operation of 3.5t flatbed vehicles for collections & deliveries.
• Handling of COSHH materials.
• Removing unused materials on behalf of our clients.
• Providing general support to various contractors across Hinkley Point C.
• Safely and effectively clean spills, including biohazard waste, using appropriate PPE.
Qualifications
• CITB Operative H&S test (must be completed before starting date)
• CPCS Hoist operators' card (training will be provided.)
• Biowaste trained (You will be required to complete this within the 3-month probation period)
• Valid UK driving license.
Experience
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in the use of cleaning products and equipment.
• Ability to understand Safe Systems of work.
• Experience in using COSHH materials and understanding COSHH assessments.
• Demonstrate the ability to think and act quickly.
• Maintain a high standard of personal presentation & hygiene.
• Proven reliability and ability to maintain a good work ethic and routine.
• Able to demonstrate an ability to work as part of a team.
• An understanding of the principles of equality and diversity in relation to visitors' or colleagues' needs.
• Able to be face fit tested, carry out RPE tasks when required.
