Logistics Non-Working Supervisor

Job Description: 


Managing a team of support operatives for the control and distribution of permanent construction materials and general duties to support and maintain the construction environment.


Hourly Rate:
•    Basic = £32.55
•    OTA = £45.57
•    OTB = £58.59


Shift Pattern/Hours:


•    Full Time – 38hrs pw + OT
•    10 Days on - 4 Days off
•    12.5hrs per day (-0.5hrs unpaid break)


Benefits:
•    Shift Premium - up to 15% of basic rate for all hours worked
•    BUPA personal health care
•    190hrs holiday + public holidays per annum
•    Daily Travel Allowance
•    Accommodation allowance (dependant on qualifying criteria)


Essential Quals:


•    CCNSG Safety Passport
•    1 of the following;
o    SMSTS
o    LATS
o    IOSH Managing Safely
•    Full UK Driving License – No more than 9 points
•    Good spoken and written English language skills
•    Basic IT literacy skills


Additional Desirable Quals:


•    1 of the following:
o    CPCS Competent Operator (Blue Card) or NPORS Telehandler
o    CPCS Competent Operator (Blue Card) or NPORS Counterbalance Forklift

Plus


•    CPCS Competent Operator (Blue Card) or NPORS Traffic Marshall
•    Full Clean UK Driving License
•    Leadership & Management Practice for the Construction & Built Environment Sector - ILM
•    First Aid @ Work
•    Trauma Medic Immediate Care - TMIC
•    Incident Controller – IC


Essential Knowledge/Experience/Skills:


•    Proven background managing a team
•    Willing to undertake training courses as required to assist in delivering a high quality of service to the client.


Additional Desirable Knowledge/Experience/Skills:


•    Knowledge & experience in the use of the plant equipment types list in desirable quals.
•    Proven background managing plant operations.
•    Proven background managing a general stores
•    Proven background maintaining the transfer of LTQR for permanent materials
•    Proven background managing a team of support operatives
•    Knowledge of industry and HPC standards and best practices relating to the use of plant equipment types list in desirable quals and managing safe working zones around moving plant equipment (PVPI).
•    Knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Word.
•    Knowledge of Hilti and AssetTagz systems
