Logistics Manager (Black Hat) - Plant and Fleet - Nights

Main Duties:


To produce and carry out the Nightly Activity brief and set the team to work. 
Complete familiarisation/competency training and keep records for audit/data recording purposes. 
Ensure all plant/equipment are maintained and refuelled and keep records for audit/data recording purposes. 
Maintain the integrity of Fuel Cards allocated to domestic vehicles. 
Ensure plant and equipment are parked in the correct area and keys are secured and controlled. 
Ensure Point of Work Risk Assessments are completed for all loading/unloading activities and that these areas are segregated from Pedestrians and Hazards. 
Provide Familiarisation training to operators/ operatives for the securing of loads 
To co-ordinate unloading of deliveries at multiple areas, ensure handover or receipt paperwork is completed and keep records for audit/data recording purposes. 
Create and provide Toolbox Talks on a weekly basis and maintain records


Requirements:


CITB Managers and Professional (MAPS) - (Must be obtained before the start date)
SMSTS - (Must be obtained within the first 3 months of employment)
SMSTS - (Must be obtained within the first 3 months of employment) 
Previous supervisory experience (preferable in plant operations or construction) 
A good understanding of Delivery Management Systems 
Demonstrate a knowledge of safe loading and security of loads 
Driving License
