As a Construction Logistics Manager, you will provide continuous support to our operations team out of hours. You will supervise Chargehands and Logistic Operatives working across multi-skilled activities ensuring they are working safely in line with RAMS, DABS, and HPC processes. You will play a key role by completing daily briefings before work starts, and ensuring all operatives understand their daily tasks and are aware of any new hazards within their work. This will be a very busy role with conflicting priorities, and we are looking for someone who wants to join us who thrives in a fast-paced environment You will be part of a great team, who are supportive and friendly.

 


Qualifications:

 

  • Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS)
  • CITB certificate (Managers and Professional standards)
  • CSCS Card Manager Level (Black)
  • IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent
  • Level 6 NVQ Diploma in Construction Site Management (or working towards)

 


Experience:

 

  • Previous Supervisory Experience
  • Excellent IT/ MS office skills
  • Being able to deliver essential training and mentor staff
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to build and develop a team.
  • Able to deal calmly and confidently with all demands from construction and Clients.
  • Demonstrable commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Experience in reporting Observations and Near misses
