Main Duties:


•    To carry out the Daily Activity brief and set the team to work.
•    To ensure the completion of daily checks sheets, report any defects to the manager and keep records for audit/data recording purposes.
•    Manage vehicular movements in line with electronic schedule to accommodate material deliveries into construction areas.
•    To keep all loading/unloading areas segregated and free from obstruction and PVPI mitigation is in place.
•    Complete familiarisation/competency training and keep records for audit/data recording purposes.
•    Set up/maintain exclusion zones when required.
•    To attend daily multiple contractor planning meetings when required.
•    Where necessary, undertake the role of traffic marshal for deliveries.
•    To co-ordinate unloading of deliveries at multiple areas.
•    To inform all operatives of any changes related to site duties or site requirements - sign off POWRA where required
•    Give Toolbox talks to operatives on a weekly basis and keep records.
•    Any additional reasonable duties requested by the line manager


Requirements:


CITB HS&E Supervisor Test (to be completed before start date) 
SSSTS (must be obtained within the first 3 months of employment) 
CPCS Card (Traffic Marshal) or willing to work towards
Previous Supervisory Experience
Demonstrate the ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure
Able to successfully execute SOP's, Risk Assessments, and Method Statements to teams
Excellent communication skills, written & verbal, with internal and external stakeholders
Demonstrate reliability, including and have strong time management skills, to ensure team effectiveness
Understanding of Health and Safety responsibilities and obligations
