Main Duties:
Producing detailed lift plans, procedures and coordination studies for complex operations
Selecting appropriate lifting methods, cranes and equipment to meet safety and project requirements
Ensuring compliance with nuclear safety standards, legislation and site-specific procedures
Briefing lifting teams and supervisors to ensure full understanding of plans and safe systems of work
Identifying hazards, resolving constraints and supporting safe, integrated delivery across site activities
Requirements:
CPCS Appointed Person (A61) Blue Card
NVQ Level 3 in steel erecting or moving loads
Holding significant experience producing lift plans within major construction or infrastructure projects
Demonstrating strong knowledge of lifting operations, rigging and crane planning
Applying a thorough understanding of health, safety and compliance standards in high-risk environments
Communicating effectively with multidisciplinary teams and site stakeholders
Coordinating activities and prioritising workload within complex project environments
