Opportunity for a Land Surveyor working with Mactech on the Hinkley Point C project,


Rate £350 - £525 (Dependant on pay route - inside IR35)


Accountabilities : 

 

  • Undertaking land / topographic and engineering surveys, using a variety of specialist equipment and technology, such as robotics and 3D scanners
  • Setting out
  • Analysing data using plans, maps, charts and software such as AutoCAD, Civils3D, Leica Survey Software.
  • Preparing survey drawings
  • Presenting data to clients and writing reports
  • Advising about technical matters
  • Working both on site and in an office as required


Qualifications : 

 

  • A formal qualification in civil/survey engineering / other vocational qualification or equivalent experience in a related discipline
  • Strong background/experience in land surveying gained in a civil engineering capacity
  • Good understanding of regulations in construction field (quality/monitoring experience advantageous)
