Opportunity for an Interface Manager working with Bilfinger on the Hinkley Point C Project,

 
Main Responsibilities

 

  • The Interface Manager will work collaboratively with the Project Manager, Employer's Personnel, Employer's other contractors and any Statutory Contractors to support the progress of the operational works and conditions of contract.
  • Maintain the Engineering Interface Plan and Construction Interface Manual during the construction and commissioning phases of the Contract and including any Field Change Requests (FCR) that the Site / Project Manager requires to be incorporated.
  • Arrange & attend any Interface Management meetings / any additional meetings necessary to support the regular progress of the operational works, this will include attending meetings with other companies / contractors involved and producing copies of any correspondence/minutes exchanged which are to be reviewed by the Site/  Project Manager and issued to attendees.
  • Operate in accordance with the conditions of contract, co-operate with NNB EDF'S, Employer's Personnel, Employer's other contractors and any Statutory Contractors regarding obtaining and providing information, to ensure that works and Project can proceed in a timely and efficient way.
  • Responsible for the following Key Engineering Interface Documents: Engineering Interface Query Form, Engineering Interface Response Interface Query Log and Interface Plan. (UKX-NNBPCP-XX-000-COD-000119 / P9 and P10)
  • Responsible for the following Key Construction Interface Documents: Construction Work Package Inc. methodology, delivery. Construction Interface Manual Inc. Methodology, Delivery, Format, Construction Interface Data Types, Construction Interface Data Sheets (UKX-NNBPCP-XX-000-COD-000119 / P11 to P14)
  • Submit to the NNB EDF (by the dates agreed) the complete list of all the interfaces and information, including all associated materials and schedules, to allow Bilfinger to fulfil their contractual obligations and scope of design works.
  • Respond, within the timescales required/agreed, to all interface queries directed to Bilfinger by NNB EDF.
  • Support on any other duties as assigned by the Project Manager or Site Manager.


Qualifications/Experience : 

 

  • Previous Nuclear experience preferred but not essential
