IR Coordinator
The MEH Alliance - Altrad 
Hinkley Point C 


Accountabilities:    
1.    Manage register of live cases – investigations, grievances etc. to Ensure effective, timely case management of people related issues.
2.    Coordinate arrangement of ER cases on a timely basis in line with HPC Common Framework Agreement.
3.    Support the MEH IR Manager with the provision of day-to-day advice and guidance to supervisors and managers.
4.    Liaise with MEHJV parent companies HR / IR teams as required
5.    Support MEH Local Joint Council meetings, acting as note-taker. 
6.    Liaise with HPC recognised Trade Union Convenors as required.
7.    Support IR Manager in project work. 
8.    Consistently act with integrity and confidentiality. 
9.    Compile IR weekly management reports activities.
10.    Advise and coach managers to effectively manage Employee Relations issues in line with HPC Common Framework Agreement.
11.    All other duties as required. 

 

 

Key Deliverables:    
1.    Provide monthly metrics on number of cases, stages etc.
2.    Flag to IR Manager risk of timescales not being met.
3.    Support ER/IR change initiatives and projects.
4.    Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity in all matters, displaying appropriate judgement and initiative when required.

 

 

Minimum Qualifications/ Experience 
(as per MEH matrix)

1.    Previous HR or ER experience preferred
2.    CIPD Level 3 or Level 3 CertRP or working towards

 

 

Additional Qualifications/ Experience:    
1.    Excellent MS office skills – particularly MS Excel
2.    Strong administrative and decision making skills.
3.    High attention to detail
4.    Excellent communicator
5.    Previous experience in a Trade Union/construction environment advantageous
