An opportunity has been created for experienced HVAC Design Engineers responsible for producing engineering designs and drawings for Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning systems used in industrial and commercial buildings. 

 

 

In this role your remit will include;

  • Produce innovative and robust design solutions for a wide range of installations for complex ventilation systems
  • Producing documentation, assessment/condition reports, survey reports, basis of designs, procurement specifications, etc.
  • Produce detailed design calculations to support design requirements
  • Develop designs and drawings in line with project specifications and CDM regulations
  • Manage the integration, technical assurance, compliance and sustainability of design engineering to enable a compliant handover
  • Be a part of the CBS ventilation design team to provide design solutions for the CBS package that consists of ventilation and extraction solutions, as well as general support solutions
  • Create documentation such as: specifications, datasheets, calculations, schedules and drawings
  • Design /Construction Review Output
  • Review vendor document/information for mechanical compliance with project specifications
  • Support the Design Manager and contribute to design/construction reviews & sign off
  • Ensure design risks are considered and prepare relevant risk assessments
  • Provide strong technical support and identify innovative and robust solutions
  • Develop and maintain relationships with relevant technical consultants and suppliers

 

Applications are eagerly sought from candidates who have a strong background in utilising tools such as Revit and AutoCAD.
