We bring together the very best multi-disciplinary engineering and delivery team to accelerate projects, enhance safety, and work side by side with clients to solve the most complex construction challenges.
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive HSE Advisor to support the effective implementation, monitoring, and continual improvement of health, safety, and environmental practices across our operational environment. Working closely with site leadership and cross-functional teams, you will ensure all HSE procedure, risk controls, and compliance activities are carried out consistently, accurately, and in line with regulatory requirements. This role is ideal for someone looking to apply their existing HSE skillset within a dynamic project environment, while taking ownership of all aspects of the project lifecycle relating to HSE.
What You’ll do
- Support and advise for HSE activities across the project site, ensuring safe working practices are followed
- Assist with risk assessments and method statements, ensuring documentation is up to date and practical for site teams
- Monitor compliance with company procedures and legal requirements, escalating issues where necessary
- Support incident reporting and investigations, gathering information and helping to identify corrective actions
- Liaise with multiple teams within the project to ensure safe coordination of activities, clear communication of HSE requirements, and consistent adherence to site safety standards
Skills & Experience
- A recognised HSE qualification (e.g. NEBOSH general certificate)
- 2-3 years working in a HSE role/environment previously
- Strong understanding of HSE legislation, site compliance requirements and industry best practice
- Experience working with heavy plant, lifting operations, and large-scale mechanical equipment
- Proven ability to carry out site inspections, audits, and basic incident investigation
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to maintain accurate HSE records and documentation
