HR Coordinator

The MEH Alliance - NG Bailey 

Hinkley Point C 

 

NG Bailey have a vacancy for an HR Coordinator to join our HR function in the MEH alliance, working on the Hinkley Point C construction project.

This is a full-time permanent position based at the Hinkley Point C site (TA5 1UF).

 

HR Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the development and updating of MEH Joint Venture HR processes and procedures within Business Collaborator
  • Support the deployment of HR processes in line with extant sector agreements in effect on Hinkley Point C, engaging with supervisors and managers to ensure their understanding and approach is aligned.
  • Support the MEH HR Business partner with the provision of day-to-day advice and guidance to supervisors and managers.
  • Maintain required databases and trackers, providing accurate metrics as needed.
  • Assist with GDPR compliance both within the HR team and in the wider project.
  • Liaise with Joint Venture partner HR BP’s as and when required.
  • Support the MEH Salary Benchmarking exercise, updating when required.
  • Support the development of appropriate skills, knowledge and behaviours across the business to enable managers and employees to effectively deliver the MEH scope of work.
  • Monitoring the Weekly Time Directive against hours registered in Timesheet Portal, producing metrics with data.
  • Support the MEH HR Business Partner with providing HR expertise to the MEH Project.
  • Responsible for the completion of annual PDR’s in line with MEH Joint Venture partner HR Teams.
  • Ensure annual leave entitlements and balances are in line with MEH Joint Venture partners and review quarterly.
  • Undertake Project Exit Interviews and produce metrics to highlight areas for development.
  • Monitor required Health Surveillance for Project workforce.
  • Track absences within the project, liaising with MEH Joint Venture partner HR Teams where necessary.

 

HR Coordinator Requirements:

  • Previous HR experience essential
  • CIPD Level 3
  • Excellent MS office skills – particularly MS Excel
  • Strong administrative skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent communicator
  • Previous experience in a Trade Union/construction environment advantageous
