Are you ready to kick-start your engineering career with an incredible opportunity to gain unparalleled professional experience on a high-profile and challenging project? We are seeking a talented Graduate Engineer to join our team and contribute to our ongoing success.

What you'll do

As a Graduate Engineer, you will report directly to the Assistant Project Manager and play a vital role in delivering multi-disciplinary projects of varying sizes and complexities for Site Operations at HPC. You'll have the chance to work on exciting ventures such as modifying and installing new dewatering network infrastructure, implementing utilities infrastructure, and managing the installation and decommissioning of boreholes/wells.

In this dynamic role, you will:

  • Deliver mechanical, civil, and electrical projects, gaining hands-on experience across multiple disciplines.
  • Be involved in the entire project lifecycle, from scoping and planning to commissioning and handover.
  • Conduct hydraulic calculations and pump selection, putting your technical skills to the test.
  • Gain knowledge and understanding of lifting operations and equipment involved.
  • Act as the vital link between clients and contractors, ensuring effective communication and smooth collaboration.
  • Eventually host and chair key project meetings to define work packages and ensure alignment.
  • Utilise your creativity and expertise to propose and design engineered solutions, using tools like AutoCAD.
  • Engage with Tier 2 contractors, supporting and guiding them to successfully deliver project packages.
  • Produce high-quality documentation adhering to nuclear site standards and procedures.
  • Manage project work, ensuring safety and timely completion.
  • Schedule and prioritise projects to achieve efficient outcomes.
