Job Responsibilities

  • Drive/operate plant and equipment where trained, necessary for the for the day to day tasks set. 
  • You will be required to read and understand - Basic and Intermediate level lift plans and to take instructions from appointed persons and lifting supervisors in the slinging of a wide variety of loads using a wide variety of lifting equipment and giving clear signalling to lifting equipment operators.
  • You will have a good understanding of construction health and safety on site and have a clear understanding of the effects of good health and safety practices for yourself and for others working with you and around you
  • You will be punctual and arrive on time, finish your shifts at times allocated by site management and be willing to complete additional duties as and when the site manager requires.


What you'll bring

  • Ability to undertake a high level of manual work and work outdoors in all weathers.
  • A commitment to Health and Safety
  • Good communication skills and basic literacy and numeracy
  • Excavator lifting qualification (Essential)
  • Wheeled excavator over 10 tonnes (Essential)
  • Agriculture tractor license (Desired) 
  • Clean driving License
  • Highways experience
  • CSCS Card


Experience:

  • Excavator lifting qualification (Essential)
  • Wheeled excavator over 10 tonnes (Essential)
