Bilfinger UK have a requirement for General Operatives to be based at Hinkley Point on a permanent basis


 
The General Operative will be responsible for all types of manual handling activities plus safety process and operations. Team working is an essential part of this role and daily duties will be coordinated from the Chargehand or Foreman. The role will require the suitable candidate to work and operate to a good standard of workmanship within the company or client standards and have good team working skills.  The role will also require you to be fully conversant with all materials and equipment utilised for carrying out the necessary functions associated with general labouring or assisting other trades on site.  You will be required to have a strong knowledge in all aspects of safe operation in the use of moving or power driven equipment/hand tools prior to use. Be fully aware of any permit to work or hazardous environmental dangers associated with any tasks.

  • Previous site experience preferred but not essential
