General Labourer

Hinkley C (Bridgwater site)

 

 

The HPC Jobs Service supports local people into exciting, long-term careers across our Project.

 

As a General Labourer you will be required to:

  • Live within 60 minute radius of site – travelling by car
  • Work at Height
  • Walk in excess of 20,000 steps per day
  • Work in Confined Spaces
  • Carry out cleaning duties
  • Fire Watching
  • Traffic Marshalling
  • Manual handling
  • Moving up and down different levels – manually
  • Wear full Personal Protective Equipment within the required areas

 

 

Please note, this is not a limited list and additional requirements maybe asked of you by the team lead / superintendent(s).

 

 

Minimum Qualifications/ Experience (in line with MEH Onboarding matrix)

 

Must have:

  • CCNSG Safety Passport

 

Preferred:

  • ECITB approved Manual Handling
  • ECITB approved Low Risk Confined Space
  • ECITB approved Handheld and Bench- Mounted Abrasive Wheels
  • ECITB approved Working at Height
  • ECITB Working Safely with Hand and Powered Tools
  • ECITB Firewatcher

 

 

Rate of pay:  £16.76 per hour
Shift pattern and hours of work to be discussed at application
