Main Duties:


•    Accountable to the MEHA Fire Safety Manager for the performance of the key deliverables listed below. 
•    Promote and support the development of a positive fire safety culture among MEHA employees and stakeholders. 
•    Intervening where shortfalls in fire safety have been identified and assist in the rectification of standards to allow safe continuation of works. 
•    Contribute to the development and implementation of fire safety systems, procedures, and policies. 
•    Conduct fire safety inspections for development of fire risk assessments and ongoing monitoring to ensure effectiveness.  
•    Champion continuous improvement in fire safety practices and systems across the construction site
•    Using Fieldview, ensure fire risk assessments are produced in a timely manner for MEHA areas of responsibility and MEHA works. 
•    Maintain fire risk assessments to ensure they are suitable and sufficient for the works being undertaken and risk of fire. 
•    Cooperate with other contractor's fire risk assessors to ensure approach to fire risk assessments are coordinated.  
•    Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the NNB site processes and procedures relating to fire safety to ensure advice and guidance provided to MEHA operations are compliant with NNB requirements.


Requirements:


•    Fire Risk Assessor Level 3 or Level 4 with Complex Buildings experience (level 4 required by Q2 2026).
•    NEBOSH Fire Certificate 
•    Diploma in Fire Safety Lv4 (Fire Inspector) 
•    IOSH Managing Safety 
•    Previous experience of fire safety in the construction industry or other high risk/complex environments
