Field View Lead

The MEH Alliance - Balfour Beatty Kilpatrick 
Hinkley Point C

 

Accountabilities:

  1. Software Management: Oversee and ensure effective use of Trimble Field View across the team.
  2. Team Leadership: Lead, train, and support a team of users in using the software for project management and field data collection.
  3. Task and Issue Coordination: Assign tasks, track progress, and resolve issues using Trimble Field View’s features.
  4. Data Management: Ensure accurate data collection, reporting, and analysis from the field.
  5. Compliance and Quality Control: Ensure that project documentation, inspections, and safety checks are completed to meet industry standards and regulations.

 

Key Deliverables:

  1. Effective Use of Trimble Field View: Ensure all team members are proficient and the software is fully integrated into daily operations.
  2. Timely Project Reports: Generate and share accurate progress and issue reports with stakeholders.
  3. Training Programs: Develop and deliver training sessions for team members on software usage and updates.
  4. Task Completion Tracking: Monitor and report on the completion of assigned tasks and inspections.
  5. Compliance Documentation: Ensure all forms, checklists, and safety inspections are completed in accordance with industry standards.

 

Minimum Qualifications/ Experience 
(in line with MEH Onboarding matrix)

  1. Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  2. Technical Proficiency: Experience with Trimble Field View or similar construction management software.
  3. Project Management Experience: Proven experience in managing small teams, preferably in a construction or fieldwork environment.
  4. Construction Knowledge: Familiarity with construction workflows, safety regulations, and quality control processes.
  5. IT Skills: Basic understanding of cloud-based platforms, mobile devices, and software troubleshooting.

 

Additional Qualifications/ Experience:

  1. Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities to guide and motivate the team.
  2. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting.
  3. Problem-Solving Abilities: Ability to troubleshoot software issues and resolve operational challenges efficiently.
  4. Adaptability: Willingness to adapt to changing project needs and continuous learning in new software features and construction technology.
