Environmental Advisor

 

We are looking for an Environment Advisor to join our Infrastructure Services team on-site at Hinkley Point C to be a Full time on-site Environmental Lead for the SIA to provide environmental support to Operational Teams.


Duties & Responsibilities:

 

  • Implement the requirements of Skanska’s Integrated Management System ‘Our Way of Working’ at project level to meet the requirements of ISO 14001;
  • Understand the Client and internal statutory requirements, environmental and sustainability processes and procedures, how they affect operations, and ensure that the requirements are implemented.
  • Develop, implement and monitor Construction Environmental Management Plans, Site Waste Management Plans and other subject specific environmental management plans to maintain compliance with legislation and contract requirements;
  • Provide technical advice, direction, support and assistance to key internal and external stakeholders to enable them to manage their environmental duties and responsibilities;


We're looking for:

 

  • Proven construction industry experience or relevant environmental experience in a similar sector.
  • Associate or Practitioner Membership of IEMA or equivalent professional membership
  • Degree level in appropriate environmental discipline
  • Competent IT skills
  • Strong team player who is self-motivated
