Enablement Project Director

Accountabilities:


Leadership of the Enablement team (100+ people) including the associated construction management role and workforce (500+).
Driving continuous improvement to meet and then beat the estimating norms and creating savings against the estimate.
Developing the team so that it can improve from Unit 1 to 2 and consider how this knowledge and capability can transition to Sizewell for Units 3 and 4.
Oversee the workforce planning, ensuring that there are the right numbers of the right skills at the right time, working closely with the partner companies to develop multiple resourcing channels.
Represent the MEH Alliance position in discussions with Altrad and Cavendish Nuclear, driving them to prioritise support to MEH JV in terms of the provision of resources, expertise, and best practice, (process, procedures, and technology).
Ensure that the planned works are clearly represented with the MEH Programme or 16WLA, identifying key interfaces and required resource to deliver to the schedule, working with the Area management teams to achieve the optimum installation sequence. Work with the MEH Alliance planning community to develop a Programme, incremental improvement (P50 to P80 etc.)
Act as the key link between Engineering/ Procurement and Construction for Enablement scope. Take overall responsibility for the safe and defect free construction of these Works, and the KPI's associated with them.
Provide best practice and Learning from Experience into the MEH Alliance. Lead and foster a positive Nuclear Safety Culture.
Act as the Senior Altrad employee on the project, providing leadership to the Altrad employees, disseminating any company communications and acting as a link to Altrad while ensuring that employees behave in a manner which prioritises MEH Alliance alignment, fostering a "one team" mentality and ensuring no silo working.
Drive employee compliance with MEH and parent company processes; supporting compliance with MEH working arrangements, driving PDR completion, supporting managers in performance management issues involving Delivery Partner resource.
Ensure that core values are understood and aligned with the MEH Alliance position and HPC Way.
Lead and foster a positive Nuclear Safety Culture
Ensure that the planned construction works are clearly represented with the MEHA Programme, identifying key interfaces and required resource to deliver to the schedule.
Deliver seamless EPC organisation within MEHA as part of MEH JV.

Regular monitoring, evaluation, and review of outputs and Altrad team performance.
Refresh team as required throughout the phases of the project to always ensure bests athletes.


Requirements:


Degree in relevant discipline (or equivalent experience).
Relevant professional Accreditation (PM, Construction, Engineering)
Can achieve security clearance (BPSS or higher).
