Role Outline
Health Partners can offer you a varied and exciting role at their busy Medical/Urgent Care centre at Hinkley Point C, Bridgwater Somerset.
We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Emergency Treatment Nurse to work at our client site at Hinkley. The site operates 24/7 and we require candidates to work shifts including days and nights.
The salary for this position is £56,650 FTE with enhancements for nights and weekend working.
What you'll be doing:
- Emergency response covering trauma/medical emergencies on site.
- Walk in treatment service for injury/illness.
- Health surveillance/OH medicals
- Drug and alcohol testing
- Cannulation when required
What you'll have:
- NMC Registered
- A&E experience
- Immediate or Advanced Life Support Qualification
- Valid UK Manual Driving License
Experience:
- Ideally you will have experience with independent practice in MIU or similar
Skills:
- Ability to work effectively under supervision, as well as independently, and recognise the limits of their practice
- Advanced Life Support
- Cannulation
For this role, there is a two stage interview process. If you are successful to attend a second stage interview, you will be asked to do a practical assessment which will include an ALS scenario as well as assessing a limb and the interview will be held onsite.
