Job Responsibilities:

•    Manage register of live cases - investigations, grievances, disciplinaries etc. to Ensure effective, timely case management of people related issues.

•    Coordinate arrangement of ER cases on a timely basis in line with HPC Common Framework Agreement.

•    Support the MEH ER Manager with the provision of day-to-day advice and guidance to supervisors and managers.

•    Liaise with MEHJV parent companies HR / ER teams as required

•    Support MEH Local Joint Council meetings, acting as note-taker.  

•    Liaise with HPC recognised Trade Union Convenors as required.

•    Support ER Manager in project work.  

•    Consistently act with integrity and confidentiality.  

•    Compile ER weekly management reports activities.

•    Advise and coach managers to effectively manage Employee Relations issues in line with HPC Common Framework Agreement.

•    All other duties as required.  

 

Desirable Qualifications:
•    Excellent MS office skills - particularly MS Excel

•    Strong administrative and decision-making skills.

•    High attention to detail

•    Excellent communicator

•    Previous experience in a Trade Union/construction environment advantageous

 

Qualifications:

•    CIPD Level 3 or Level 3 CertRP or working towards


Experience:

•    Previous HR or ER experience preferred

•    Excellent MS office skills - particularly MS Excel 

•    Strong administrative and decision-making skills.

•    High attention to detail

•    Excellent communicator

•    Previous experience in a Trade Union/construction environment advantageous
